My name is Siobhan, and I am a twenty-two-year-old student at the University of Queensland with a passion for Ancient history In December of 2025 I will have completed my Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Ancient History and English. Subsequently, in 2026 I plan to complete an honors thesis which will focus on the representation of Egyptian immigrants in Classical Athens art and literature.

My Goals

Short Term

I have such an appreciation for Ancient History that I can see myself exploring several different avenues in the field. However, my love for Egyptian history means that in the next 5 years I aspire to complete a masters and PhD specializing in the Ancient Egyptian mythology.

Long Term

Long-Term I aspire to be an Egyptologist. I would also love to curate museum exhibits that can be appreciated by everyone, especially those who may have little to no knowledge regarding the field. I would love to be able to share the majesty of history in a fun and entertaining way while still communicating the significance of historical artefacts and events.
